Mr. Jayanta Kumar Singha, known by many as Mr. Jay, is our principle lawyer and driving force behind Singha Law Professional Corporation. With over 24 years of legal experience spanning Canada, India, and Bangladesh, Mr. Jay brings an unparalleled depth of insight, cultural awareness, and legal acumen to every case he handles.
He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Calcutta in 2001, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Northern University, Bangladesh, in 2006. After immigrating to Canada, he completed his Certificate of Qualification from the University of Toronto, enabling him to practice law in Ontario. You are the purpose, part and the opportunity of our work.
He is a family-oriented professional, an avid reader, and a world traveler who enjoys international cuisine and finds inspiration in the words of great leaders. His personal mission is closely aligned with Singha Law Professional Corporation’s values—to advance accessible legal services in Ontario, particularly for immigrant communities, and to contribute to a stronger, fairer legal system in the province he and his family proudly call home.
